Recipe: Winged beans with Sambal chilli and dried shrimps

Today my husband and I walked past a wet market and he saw this weird looking vegetable and decided to cook it. So we searched online for its name and recipe.
This is actually beans and it is called Winged beans (four angled bean) 四凌豆 and we got the recipe from here.

While searching about this bean, we have found out it has a lot of benefits like high protein, anti-oxidant, vitamin A B & C and its good for person who is on diet. Read more from here.

This was his first time cooking and he did a great job!

Here's the recipe from foodcanon blog:
Ingredients
Sambal chilli with shrimps (we bought it from cold storage $2plus)
Shallot
Garlic
Dried shrimps
Winged beans 四凌豆 ($1.50 from wet market)

Steps
1) A bit of oil in the heated wok.
2) Add garlic and then, the chili paste, shallots and dried shrimps. Fry until fragrant.1-2 minutes will do.
3) Add the beans and do a quick fry (2-3 minutes will do). Add some soy sauce, and if necessary, splashes of water along the way.
Serve immediately.
